Ingredients of Masala Mathri

  1. It’s of maida.
  2. Prepare of sabut daniya seeds.
  3. Take of carom seeds.
  4. You need of kasoori methi.
  5. Prepare of black pepper crushed.
  6. Prepare of anardana powder.
  7. You need of salt.
  8. It’s of oil for fry +moyan.

This recipe goes back to two generation to my grand mother.This recipe is a delicious twist to traditional mathri filled with spicy besan.Mathi is popular Indian sytle tea time snack.Stiff dough is kneaded from all purpose flour and wheat flour adding various spices to it and then deep fried.

  1. Put maida,salt,anar dana powder,kasoori methi,black pepper,carom seeds in a mixing bowl..
  2. Mix it well add oil for moyan and some lukewarm water and make a dough,.
  3. Rest dough for 1 hour..
  4. Make balls with the dough..
  5. Roll methi shape with the balls..
  6. Heat oil in a heavy bottom wok add mathri and deep fry till golden and crispy..
