Ingredients of Masqati Persian Dessert

  1. Take 1 cup of corn flour.
  2. It’s 5 cups of water.
  3. Make ready 1 cup of sugar.
  4. It’s 50 grams of butter.
  5. Make ready 1/4 Teaspoon of saffron powder.
  6. Make ready 1/4 teaspoon of cardamom powder.
  7. It’s 1/4 cup of rosewater.

Masqati Persian Dessert step by step

  1. Mix corn flour, sugar and water well.
  2. Put on stove with low fire, stir continuously.
  3. Add butter, saffron, cardamom and keep stirring until it gets thick.
  4. 10 minutes before you remove from fire add rosewater to keep it’s aroma.
  5. Put the pudding in a rectangular shape pyrex and keep it in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours.
  6. Cut it in diamond shape and transfer in a flat plate.
